Joy of Dance presents our first annual “Nutcracker Sweet Treats” – a Marine Corps Toys for Tots Benefit! This precious little 30 minutes show features scenes from Act 2 of the Nutcracker – the Kingdom of Sweets. The Kingdom is ruled by the Sugar Plum Fairy who presents a celebration of sweets from around the world for Clara and the Nutcracker’s enjoyment. There is decadent chocolate from Spain, Mandarin Tea from China, an exciting Trepak from Russia, rich Coffee from Arabia, the lovely and delicate Dew Drop Fairy, and the beautiful Sugar Plum Fairy. This performance is the perfect opportunity to introduce your child to this world-famous holiday ballet, Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker, and meet with Clara, the Nutcracker, and the Sugar Plum Fairy for photos after the show! Tickets are free but we ask that everyone bring a new, unwrapped toy to enjoy the show!
